Multiple temperature sensors and nozzles are installed on the roof exterior surface, and temperature sensors, spray pump, and water refill pump are connected with the building automation system(BAS) The BAS determines whether the roof temperature is higher than the start pump temperature or lower than the stop pump temperature.
