2021 @ WINDOOR FACADE EXPO

This year the world is facing serious challenges – the epidemics affecting almost all major cities around the world, and climate change is still threatening our ecosystem. More than ever before, human health and the natural environment has become one of the most important topics of urban and architectural design, engineering, and related businesses.

That’s the reason why WINDOOR FACADE EXPO held the concurrent event “Architecture and Technology Conference”. Based on the challenge of post-epidemic era and climate change, guests and speakers of the conference shared the innovations and technologies of the latest building projects, discussed the future trends on the topics of high-quality construction, urban renewal, facade innovation, real estate, window door and facade.

Today, thousands of real estate developers, architects, facade designers, engineering companies, distributors, medias from the whole China have gathered at this annual must-attend event.

Two Special Exhibit Sections

《Re (Make) : Surface》

This special exhibit section highlights the cross-border cooperation among architectural design and structure, technology, material, technique, art, etc., and actively promoted the cross-border cooperation in the industry, which is of great significance to the upgrading and iteration of improving architectural quality. Many architects and facade designers have joined hands to apply new materials, new technologies and new products to reconstruct the architectural skin together.

The 1st floor of Re(Make) Surface was planned by Luo Yi Architectural Technology Co., Ltd.,. By showcasing innovative materials, innovative technologies and innovative designs, it presented visitors more possibilities of building facade.

At the 2nd floor, in addition to the thematic exhibition, there are also projects with architectural features brought by O-office Architects, which attracted a large number of visitors to stay.

At the 2+ floor, Shenzhen Aube Conception, IAPA PTY. LTD., Guangdong Architectural Design & Research Institute, and Shing & Partners Design Group have all brought their satisfactory works regarding to architectural innovation and surface remade.

At the 3rd floor, the exhibit, Shenzhen Cube Design and Shenzhen Motai Architectural Design Firm also displayed their distinctive architectural projects, attracting people to visit and learn.

Architecture and Technology Polaris Award

By seeking for annual innovation products in the whole construction field throughout 2020, Architecture and Technology Polaris Award has provided new solutions to many owners, developers, architects and engineering companies.

All the products in the Polaris Award exhibit area were selected strictly from more than 300 companies. The expert review has lasted for 4 months and finally a total of 64 products were selected and won the 2021 Architecture and Technology Polaris Award. This exhibit area become one of the most popular of WINDOOR FACADE EXPO.

In the afternoon of March 10, speakers from the 64 awarded companies delivered live presentation to the expert jury and compete for the top 10 honor. After voting, the expert jury selected 10 best products and granted them Top 10 Polaris Award.
